This multi-species agreement of July 1996 covers 11,334 acres of industrial timberlands in southwest Washington State. It takes an innovative approach to protecting riparian areas and slopes at risk for landslides, with a 50-year HCP term. NOAA Fisheries Service did not issue an incidental take permit nor do a biological opinion because there are no ESA-listed fish in the habitat conservation plan area.
The habitat conservation plan is a very large file.
