This salmon recovery sub-domain encompasses the estuary and all Columbia River sub-basins up to White Salmon, Wash., and Hood River, Ore., and the Willamette River up to Willamette Falls. NOAA Fisheries has listed four anadromous salmon runs there under the Endangered Species Act:  lower Columbia River Chinook, lower Columbia River coho, lower Columbia River steelhead, and Columbia River chum.
