Tagshinney Tree Farm Habitat Conservation Plan
The multi-species agreement covers 144 acres of second-growth timber in southwest Washington State. Coho and steelhead inhabit a small stream and the shore of Mayfeld Lake. This HCP was NOAA Fisheries' first use of the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) categorical exclusion to describe a low-effect HCP and unlisted species agreement. The categorical exclusion was signed and incidental take permit issued in March 2004.
The habitat conservation plan and associated documents are large files. Please e-mail nwr.webcontent@noaa.gov to request a CD of these documents, and include your name and full mailing address.
