Post-Conference Tour

Please join us for a hosted tour, on December 9, 2010, following the NWFCC meeting.

We will be heading to the ODFW Oxbow Hatchery to see the sockeye salmon rearing program, which is part of the Redfish Lake sockeye salmon captive broodstock program for IDFG.

In addition, we will visit two different NOAA-compliant fish screens at the nearby ODFW Herman Creek rearing facility. One fish screen on upper Herman Creek is a vertical fish screen with automatic pressure cleaning system; the other screen is a horizontal flat-plate fish screen developed by the Farmers Conservation Alliance (FCA).

The tour will assemble at the Hilton Hotel Lobby and will take about 3 hours total. Transportation will be provided. Please sign up for the tour at the NWFCC registration desk at the Hilton Hotel.
