ESA-Listed Marine Mammals
NOAA Fisheries has listed 22 species of marine mammals under the Endangered Species Act where 8 of those species are from the West Coast. The Northwest Region manages Southern Resident killer whales, the Southwest Region manages 6 of the whale species, and NOAA's National Marine Mammal Laboratory manages Steller Sea Lions.
